Terms of Service

Last updated: April 7, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Any2K, a content library and delivery service operated by Automata Solutions Inc. ("Any2K", "we", "us", or "our"). The "Service" includes our website, mobile apps, browser extensions, private APIs, and related services.

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

The Service is not directed to children under 13. If you are at least 13 but under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal authority, or the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required, to agree to these Terms.

Accounts

You must provide accurate, complete, and current account information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, login codes, tokens, devices, email account, and any third-party accounts you use with the Service. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account or access credentials have been compromised.

You are responsible for all activity under your account, except to the extent caused by our breach of these Terms or applicable law.

Subscriptions, Renewals, and Billing

Some parts of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscription fees, billing cycles, plan limits, and included features are shown at the time of purchase or in your account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the then-current billing period.

By starting a paid subscription, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge the applicable fees, taxes, and renewal amounts using your selected payment method. If a charge fails, we may retry the charge and ask you to update your payment method. If payment remains unsuccessful, we may automatically downgrade your account to the Basic free plan and disable paid features. A failed subscription payment does not, by itself, delete your account.

You may cancel your subscription through your account, through the applicable app store for mobile purchases, or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewal charges, but it does not automatically refund amounts already paid unless required by law or expressly stated by us.

Mobile Purchases

If you purchase a subscription or other paid feature through Apple or Google, the purchase is also governed by the applicable app store's terms and payment rules. You may need to manage cancellation, renewal, and refund requests through Apple or Google, and we may receive limited purchase and subscription information from them so we can provide the paid features in your account.

Fee Changes, Taxes, and Refunds

We may change subscription fees or plan terms from time to time. If a change affects an existing paid subscription, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice before the change applies. If you do not agree to the change, you may cancel before it takes effect.

Fees may exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, or similar charges, except for taxes based on our income.

Refunds are considered case by case unless required by law or by the payment processor's applicable rules. App store purchases may need to be refunded by Apple or Google. Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights that apply where you live.

User Content and Your Responsibilities

The Service lets you save, upload, import, process, export, and deliver content such as URLs, articles, newsletters, RSS feeds, files, highlights, notes, tags, and related metadata ("User Content"). You keep ownership of your User Content, subject to rights held by third parties.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, and legal authority needed to use your User Content with the Service, and that your User Content and use of the Service do not violate any law, regulation, intellectual property right, privacy right, contract, platform policy, or other third-party right.

You grant Any2K a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, convert, format, analyze, transmit, display to you, generate summaries or audio from, export, back up, and deliver your User Content solely to provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve the Service. This license ends when the relevant User Content is deleted from the Service, except where continued retention is permitted by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or applicable law.

You must not use the Service to save, upload, import, store, transmit, export, or deliver illegal, infringing, pirated, malicious, deceptive, harmful, harassing, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unauthorized material, or any material intended to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to software, systems, networks, accounts, devices, or people.

We do not promise to review all User Content. We may, in our discretion and without assuming an obligation to monitor, remove content, suspend deliveries, disable features, terminate accounts, preserve evidence, or cooperate with lawful requests if we believe content or conduct may create legal, security, safety, operational, or third-party rights risks.

Third-Party Content and Destinations

Any2K is a technology provider. We are not the publisher, author, seller, verifier, or legal reviewer of User Content or third-party content you save through the Service. We do not endorse or guarantee the legality, availability, accuracy, completeness, or quality of content saved from third-party sources.

If you configure third-party destinations, apps, stores, devices, email addresses, integrations, or services, you are responsible for complying with their terms and policies. We are not responsible for failures or actions of third-party services outside our control.

Automated Features

The Service may provide automated features, including summaries, question-answering, and audio narration. These features may rely on third-party providers and may require us to process or transmit source content, prompts, questions, metadata, outputs, and related technical information in order to provide the requested feature.

Automated outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, unavailable, delayed, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable for your intended purpose. You are responsible for reviewing and evaluating any output before relying on it, sharing it, or using it for personal, commercial, legal, medical, financial, educational, or other consequential purposes.

Automated outputs may not be unique or original, and similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users or by other services. AI and audio providers, models, features, and availability may change over time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability arising from or related to automated outputs, including errors, omissions, unexpected results, failures to generate, audio artifacts, or decisions made based on those outputs.

Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or infringing activity.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, overload, scrape, probe, reverse engineer, or bypass the Service except where applicable law expressly allows it.
  • Attempt to access accounts, data, systems, or features without authorization.
  • Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, credential theft tools, or other harmful code.
  • Misrepresent your identity, ownership of content, or affiliation with any person or organization.
  • Use the Service in a way that violates third-party platform, app store, content provider, or delivery destination terms.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including our software, design, branding, documentation, and other materials, is owned by Any2K or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights in the Service to you.

If you believe content in the Service infringes your rights, please contact us at [email protected] with enough information for us to review the request.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we process personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Links and Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, apps, stores, services, or content that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, policies, or services. You should review the terms and privacy policies of third-party services you use.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, remove content, or disable features if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for the Service or others, failed to pay fees, or used the Service in a way that may cause legal, security, operational, or third-party rights issues.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will stop. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including payment obligations, ownership provisions, content responsibility, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute and governing law provisions, and any terms needed to interpret or enforce these Terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at any particular time; that saved or delivered content will always be available; that third-party websites, feeds, email systems, app stores, devices, or delivery destinations will work as expected; or that automated outputs will be accurate or complete.

Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Automata Solutions Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to the Service or these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or CAD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions and limitations apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Automata Solutions Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, suppliers, and licensors from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to your User Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict of law rules. Subject to any mandatory law that gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere, the courts located in British Columbia, Canada will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights or remedies you have under the laws where you live.

Severability and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms, together with any additional terms presented for a specific feature or purchase, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and replace any prior agreements about the Service.

Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect, unless a shorter period is required for legal, security, operational, or product reasons. By continuing to use the Service after revised Terms take effect, you agree to the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

Why am I not receiving anything on my Kindle?

You should whitelist [email protected] in your Kindle account to be able to receive deliveries. This was already explained in setup steps when you created your first delivery. If you skipped this step for some reason, click here to go to your Amazon Kindle account and under the "Preferences" tab, click on "Personal Document Settings". Then find "Approved Personal Document E-mail List" section and add this email address: [email protected]

How do I change my delivery email?

You cannot change delivery email for an existing delivery. When you create a new delivery (delete the old one if you wish), you will have an option to change your delivery email on the popup that comes before the last step.

Is there a way to send all of my articles at once instead of 20 articles per delivery?

You cannot send all your articles with a single delivery because Amazon puts 25MB limit on deliveries, so we cannot bypass that. 20 article limit is put to ensure you receive your deliveries reliably. Multiple recurring deliveries can help you do this easily. If you want all articles in your Kindle right now, you will need to create multiple onetime deliveries. Signing up for a premium/platinum account can speed this up for you and ensure you receive all of your deliveries right away.

How can I save articles behind a paywall into my library? (i.e. New York Times, Wall Street Journal, etc.)

First make sure you are subscribed either to the Premium or the Platinum plan as this feature is not available on the Basic (free) plan. Then on your desktop computer, make sure you are logged into the paywalled websites. Then you can use Any2K browser extensions (available for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge) to save any paywalled article into your library. Saving paywalled articles will only work on desktop with browser extensions due to technical limitations, and will not work with mobile apps or the email save method. This will permanently save the paywalled article into your library, so you can access it even if it disappears from the internet.

How do I remove Any2K articles from my Kindle library?

If you feel your Kindle is cluttered with articles and you would like to delete your articles from your library completely (not only from your device) you can go to Manage Your Content and Devices page on Kindle and after logging in, go to Content tab. Then on the left side where it says Show: Books, you can change that filter to show Docs. At this point you should be able to see all your Any2K deliveries (Author column will be marked as any2k.com), select as many as you would like to delete and they won't show up in your library anymore. Any2K does not provide Kindle support, if these instructions don't work for your device, then please contact Amazon.

I don't like Any2K articles cluttering my library. How can I organize them better?

You can organize your Any2K articles in your Kindle library by creating collections and moving articles in them. Here is a video showing how to do that under 45 seconds.

I don't want Any2K articles added to my Kindle library. How do I do that?

Simply go to your Kindle settings and open Settings tab. Then go to section "Personal Document Archiving" and turn archiving off.
